Addictions...

It is strange how easily we humans take to repeditive, mind-numbing tasks.

A large portion of our jobs involve doing the same thing for days, weeks, years and lifetimes, all so we can earn money to use on activities that we do so as to take our mind away from our menial/painful/boring work-lives.
A lot of these activities aren't even that fun, take video-games, for example, an activity I myself devote ample time to. They're boring most of the time, you sit in front of your console of choice, source of nutrients (or flavour) close by and pretend you're on whatever epic adventure your avatar is acting out, some people might not know this, but there is a whole wide world full of places and people one could go see, meet and/or explore, if only we'd take the time.
